About

This is a print made from the still at 1 minute, 23 seconds and 10 frames into my AI-generated video work "Being represented by data is like losing a part of yourself".

The video is made by training a StyleGAN2 model entirely on images of myself from the "in transitu"-series.

The red splashes are so intriguing to look at. Their textures feel very distinctly like something out of a StyleGAN-model. A pretty great example of how AI can actually be used to make new aesthetic expressions instead of the photorealistic AI slop being churned out.
